Crustophee Plum is a ready mix for the preparation of superior quality plum cake with fine texture and excellent taste. Crustophee plum facilitates fast preparation of good quality plum cake than the traditional formulation. Prepared cakes under standard recipe & hygienic conditions can offer 50-60 days of shelf life.
Method for Plum Cake
1. Place Crustophee Plum, egg, margarine and vegetable oil in a mixing bowl.
2. Mix with pedal attachment on low speed for 1 minute.
3. Scrape down the batter and mix again on high speed for 3 minutes.
4. Add dry fruits and mix on low speed for 1 minute / until the fruits fold well.
5. Scale as required into greased pan.
6. Bake as specified.
Baking Temperature : 175 -185oC, Baking Time : 45-50 minutes / until baked well. * Use Soaked or Cooked dry fruits for better mouth feel and taste.
Method for Dry Fruits
Boil all together till the fruits get softened. Add Rum flavour /any flavour ** according to the requirement. Mix well, cool down to room temp
